Thought I would post an update on the latest our TruCast solution has churned out related customer sentiment. With over 98,000 comments from social media sites scored related to the iPhone since March 1, we continue to see overall sentiment climbing but it may also be leveling off. Still the major swing into positive territory in days leading up to and week following launch are quite impressive.
I wish I had an accurate sentiment measure for the AT&T staff selling the iPhone at AT&T stores. My personal experience at a certain store in Redmond, Washington went like this: made inquiries about how sales went, if they were out of stock and when the next shipment would arrive. To which I received the following very disinterested replies:”sales were ok”, “yes of course we are out of them”, and “we actually have no clue when the next shipment will arrive - they aren’t telling us”. That’s good customer service, I will most certainly not be going there again to actually purchase one.
Anyone else have experiences that compare the AT&T sales folks verse the Apple folks. It would be interesting to note the differences between the purchase experience at an Apple verse AT&T store.
