Car Buyers Continue to Race Toward the Web

Forrester’s Chloe Stromberg has some eye-popping new CGM data for the auto industry. In a new report entitled, “Who Uses Automotive User-Generated Content,” Forrester found that more than 25% of U.S. online consumers who say they plan to purchase a new or used vehicle in the next 12 months have turned to consumers online for their opinions. That’s almost as many as the number of consumers who recall getting similar information from magazines, newspapers, and TV - combined! I’d like to share more of the report, but I’m sure Chloe would prefer interested parties get it from her team.
